I had been a patient of Dr. Ongangi and appreciated her care, but unfortunately, I made the decision to leave her practice due to repeated negative interactions with her front office staff.
During my most recent phone call, I was consistently talked over, my concerns were ignored, and I was met with dismissiveness rather than support. When I politely asked the male receptionist to speak with a manager, he instead transferred me to another staff member. That associate raised her voice at me, repeated the same unhelpful information, and made no effort to address my concern. I was told management was unavailable, which felt like a brush-off.
No patient deserves to be treated with such hostility or disregard—especially when simply trying to get clarity or help. While I had respect for Dr. [Last Name]’s medical care, the toxic front office culture reflects poorly on the practice as a whole. I hope the management takes serious steps to improve how patients are treated.
Until then, I cannot recommend this practice.
